When you order one of Jims ride plates how many days does it take to ship , Does he already have them machined or does he do them as the order comes in?

    thanks

Hello Dingram, the mod can be ordered from the online store. Once i receive the plate it will be done in 2 days and shipped right back. From here to Ms takes 2 to 3 days to get back. Here is the link to the store to order the modification service

Make sure you specify the type of plate you want.

Jim's default plate is "general purpose". If you want the plate for more speed, you will need to specify in the comments that you want a "speed" cut.

I'm about to order Jim's plate mod for an FX SVHO but I was wondering just what the differences are between the 2 cuts. Iv'e read repeatedly from others with Jim's plate they have seen a 2+mph gain on average, is this with the "general purpose" cut? Will the "speed" cut be even faster? Does the "speed" cut sacrifice handling, turning etc. I'm just a rec rider looking for more speed and better handling like most others. Any help appreciated, I have the plate off and the credit card info entered, just want to get the right one, thanks.

on the fx there is one cut that gains 2.5 mph. on average. Some will ask to put more angle for a few tenths gain but your chance of porpoise rises.
