    New to me 2005 RXT

Just picked up a 2005 RXT with 50 hours on it. Got it for a steal...$1500

Changed all fluids, plugs, pulled the charger to inspect it for the upgraded washers and then threw it in the water and had a blast. Ran my buddy in his '14 rxp 260. He pulled me by about a ski. soooo...it begins

Current list of parts on order:

    X-Charger
42lbs injectors (came off my ls3 camaro. Love having parts laying around!)
    Fizzle intercooler
    Riva grate
    15/20 prop
    Riva OPAS block offs

What else am I missing to get this thing across the 70mph mark and pull my buddy!

If you are going external IC with the X charger you will likely need a rising rate fpr with the 42lb injectors. Someone else chime in if I am wrong. RR

Nah....no rrfr needed on that set up.

    bmoore408,

Congrats on the purchase of the best looking ski ever produced!

If you have the stock exhaust valves replace them asap

Thanks for the advice. Exhaust valves are a must from what Ive seen. Tell me more about the rising rate fpr.

It increases fuel pressure with boost. I was under the impression that it was needed if you used the stock ecm in a 215 with an X charger & 42lb injectors with external IC vs the stock internal IC because of the boost difference when removing the internal IC. VaRedneck has been here a long time & owns your year model ski so his advise is likely correct. RR

Get an ET127 wheel for your supercharger instead of the X charger, cheaper with the same boost.

+1...What he said unless you are like everyone else & are going to keep modding, then the X charger opens the door for more options in the future.

You're gonna want a 4inch Intake and supercharger adapter to let it breatheeeee it's never a bad idea to do a fpr.. they say it comes at 58 static pressure but the stock regulators are all over the place. I have an x charger brand new rebuilt 0 hrs if you want send me a pm. If you really want to let it loose look for a reflashed ecu like Riva or something for your year ski, monitor your afr with a simple gauge set up spin your motor to 8400 and you'll dust your buddy.

3 thing you should do are.

    - supercharger oiler mod
    - valves
    - flywheel bolts.
