    scom for the 1.8 na

    Do they make a scom for the 1.8 na engine? wanting to get past the limiter but want to keep running .87 octane.

    there's no limter on them like the sho/svho boats

    true. but with regards to what he was referring to with the applicability of the SCOM, there's no limiter for it to remove.

    his best bet is a reflash but finding a reflash to run on 87 might be a little difficult

    Thanks guys , i dont know if its possible but my goal is to try to hit 68 mph on 87 octane with this ski.

    Jim's modification to your ride plate will gain 2+ mph.

    Get a accurate tachometer. I believe you said you hit 7600 rpm? You want to target 7750-7800 to stay 100-150 below the stock limiter of 7898.

    You said you removed the ribbon does it make a difference to add a sleeve with reducing turbulance? I don't know but its not expensive.

    None of the tunes I have seen are for 87 octane.

    i was thinking that would be my next mod if i can gain 2 mph there that would put me right at 68mph.
