Also the coils give a bigger spark and you will have a greater choice of spark plugs ..

Can anyone tell me if the siemens ecu skis will support the extra spark ?

Does anyone now where to get the connectors from? Looking at doing a conversion myself but dont need the fancy new valve cover.

Jerry (Greenhulk) might either have them separate or knows how to get them. I would bet he'd work something out with you (or at least point you in the right direction).

But I think if you do the conversion, you will need the valve cover since the 300 coils now screw securely into the valve cover. I can't see a way around that off the top of my head.
I guess you could just stick them in your current valve cover and put the di-electric grease around it and hope it doesn't pop out (I think it will still fit, you just wont have a way to use the screw to bolt it down).

Thanks mate, i have never had an issue (well.....yet) with coils popping out on my ski and was just going to sit them in. If they pop out ill make some sort of bracket to hold them down.

I know this is an old thread but how did you go with fitting the new coils to the old covers?
Do they fit it and could you just drill tap and add a bolt or stud.
