    Islamorada In April

I'm heading down for a few days Saturday April 15th to Wednesday April 19th, seems the weather is traditionally pretty good down there around that time. I'll be staying in Tavernier those days and was planning to rent a ski there but damn its expensive! So I'll be bringing mine along for the ride lol.

Seems like a million places to go, don't even know where to start.. Any "tour guides" in the area? Never ridden salt water before so a few extra people to ride with would be a bonus.

Never been down south of Jersey in the States before... I don't have to worry about sharks jumping out at me or snakes attacking me right... kidding... maybe not lol

Actually, I saw a spinner shark this past weekend. Pretty cool.

Not my video, but you get the picture...

    Hi,

Hit me up as I wouldn't mind taking day trip.
It can be hard to navigate area as there are a lot of shallows if your unfamiliar with area.

Oh nice.. Thanks lol. Should be interesting, riding only fresh water lakes in Canada the most dangerous thing around here is maybe hitting Seagull at high speeds!

I'd appreciate the company. I'll PM you my contact info and contact you closer to. I'm trying to book an extra day since I found out it is a holiday here Friday April 15th so that gives me an extra day off from work. I'm assuming a weekend would work better for most

If you havent booked your hotel- check out the coconut palm inn, in Tavernier. They have trailer parking and a boat ramp right next to the hotel. I cant make it down for those dates but it is a nice ride from the hotel to the islamorada sandbar and then out to alligator reef to snorkel.

I saw that place, looks really nice but was a bit on the pricey side for me. I booked just down the street at Mangrove Marina in Tavernier. It had some good reviews, and has a marina attached with a launch. They also will store the trailer while there so you don't have to drag it along when you go somewhere and you can leave the ski in the water tied off the houseboat you stay in.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
