    2005 Seadoo RXP 215 questions

    Hello,

Looking to put a value on this machine. I have an opportunity to buy it from the original owner for $4000 USD, with trailer included. (see pic attached)

    2005 Seadoo RXP 215:
    - 117 total hours on this machine
    - Supercharger has been rebuilt at 105 hours
    - Condition is spotless, no blemishes, no fading or rips.
    - Only used in Fresh water
    - Compression is good on all cylinders
    - Always garage kept, never left in the water

Am i getting a good deal? What is the market value of this machine/trailer.

    Thanks

It all depends on location. But it looks like a decent buy to me.

That's about right. I have same color scheme 2005 RXT 215 with 50hrs
I haven't owned it long, I bought it on the cheap from someone that hadn't used it in a few years.
My SC washers have been done, new wear ring, new grease in pump cone, oil and filter change done, and I am about to change out the crappy hollow stem exhaust valves in a week or two.
I have the 72 stamped exhaust stems and I am sure you do also. Other than that, I am done. It purrs like a kitten. I probably will do the carbon ring and boot (not too expensive)before warm weather, just so I know what I have. I checked my compression and got 132, 130, 134 warm engine in drown mode each time. I also took my inspection camera and the cylinder walls and pistons look awesome, I could see the "crosshatching" on the walls. Hopefully it will be ok. I have done everything I know to be preventive. Last thing I will do is a new Deka gel battery in April. I also cleaned both ends of the ground cables and where they contact the engine block.
Oh, and I tightened every hose clamp on the ski. Was surprised at how lose a few were. I re-zip tied all bilge hose bailing system and installed a bilge pump auto/man.
