Best oil for 04 Superjet 700

    Hi guys,
I just bought my first stand up. (2004 Yamaha Superjet 700)
I don't know which oil I need to use. I have seen that TCW3 grade is recommanded.
Which oil do you use in your superjet? Can I use competition motorbike oil or not?
    Thanks a lot

If the engine is stock then buying expensive synthetic oil is a waste of money, good old Yamalube TCW3 or similar will be fine. Semi synth is also good and reasonable priced

I'm bored, ported, raised comp and run a fully synthetic castor blend. No way I'd pay for this in a stock motor though

    Thank you for your help!
So what I understand is that I can use every motorbike oil for my SJ, right?
I plan to use maybe motul 800 fully synthetic oil. (not TCW3) I have a factory pipe exhaust, wiseco pistons and Fly air filters.

Klotz oil smells so damn good. Only reason I run it. Otherwise tcw3

I also like and use Amsoil in all our skis. Excellent protection, less smoke. I use the HP marine.

All oils are NOT created equal. Do your home work, and find / use a BIA (boat industry approved) marine grade TCW-3 oil. You need something with rust inhibitors. Standard 2-stoke oil will not have the correct additives.

Most important is to pick an oil you can get easily, and stick with it. Do not mix brands/types.

I have always used Amsoil or Maxia Oil in all my race ski's. Just make sure you use something thats quality if your isn't very modified, I know my friends from France that used ro race with me used to use a Motul oil. I go 40:1 ratio, but if yours is more stock you can probably get away with 50:1 or 60:1
