Heads up, GP1800 Riva Pro Watercooling kit, reason for my rage. FYI
So I called Riva and they were as usual beyond professional and helpful. Turns out while they don't know what ski we physically have upon a 3rd party order, hence it's not their fault...there is a completely new set of instructions as well as a new part for the oil cooler to be blocked off (GP1800s) have a refined version...and the older Yamaha skis will have or already have a recall announced on their oil coolers, which will be converted to the newer GP1800 style units, effectively changing the installation directions.
I had moments where I felt like a moron
I had moments where I questioned my sanity
I had moments where I realized I was too stubborn to actually call Riva and finally caved.
Don't be me on this. There are probably going to be packages that contain older versions of the directions. There are new ones specifically for GP1800 units. The kits are also lacking a new part Riva will be including for GP1800s to block off one of the 2 ports on the oil cooler.
Hope this helps whoever may get a GP1800 in the future...or those of you who convert your old skis oil cooler to the newer version.

It's the Riva pro series SVHO cooling kit

The 2017's have a small difference in that there is one extra water port on the oil cooler that needs to be capped off. See attached
