    2014 fzs bouncing

    I have a 2014 fzs with riva cai,free flo,r&d grate sealed,
solas 13/18 pitched by dean, deans tune
    dedicated waterline,stock cooler for now
    currently 82mph at 8360 rpms
when I get about 76mph its starts bouncing wondering if anyone has tried going to
a 3degree 87mm nozzle, with any success also plan on adding the lucky 13 thanx
    for your input

i found that running 1 or 2 stainless washers on the front bolts of ride plate will correct problem. But every hull is different so this is a trial and error situation. do a search and youll find plenty of info on this minor issue

Shimming the plate can help. Shipping the back down has helped me those ft, not the front. Also the three degree nozzle will help but may scrub some speed. Also play with where you sit on the ski and also try leaning tonight be side a bit. All these things help.

everyone says shim the back. i strongly disagree. i found best results with 1 shim in front if your a single rider. 2 shims if you ride with a passenger. yes shimming the back gets rid of bounce. i get better speed by shimming the front

Cool. What shim combinations have you tried? What intake grate do you have?
Some hulls have been known to bounce. They can be tamed, but not cued.
