Rear Facing SC torx bolt
How are you guys getting the torx bolt out that faces the engine block? I can't get a socket wrench in there and can't get an 8mm closed ended wrench either.
I can fit my torx socket but no room left to use anything to turn it.
Is there a special tool for this bolt?

don't bug it up, get the seadoo tool, which is essentially a flt torqx box wrench with a 3/8 drive on it.
tools is about =$20
I personally have one just in case, but I mostly use a really good 1/4 box wrench
it's not something you want to have to do the hard way for sure. Generous applications of your favorite snake oil and a couple of quick bursts with a microtorch can help
patience is key

Lol. Yea I stood there looking at the bolt, then after a while, I began talking to it and answering back in third person....
"So how did you get in there if I can't get you out?"
"You wanna play hard to get , I'll get you eventually"
Then I realized that I needed to walk away for a few.
I'll grab the 1/4 box when I get back to it. Thanks!

Rear Facing SC torx bolt
Once you get all 3 removed, I suggest you replace them all with 10mm hex head SS bolts. M8 x 1.25 x 55mm

Easy, Just loosen up the bolt holding the engine to the top of engine mount on that side and lift the engine up about a half inch and pull the charger right out. Once you set the engine down the hole might be a out of alignment. Stick a small tool down the hole and you can move the mount enough to finger the bolt back in. Did this to both my 300s and no issues pulling the chargers off or installing them back on.
