155 rough idle / fuel questions

i got a 02 4tec 155.... ski has 240 hours on it, the previous owner said it had a misfire/rough run. it's too cold to take it on the lake but it does kinda run rough. the plugs were replaced and taken back out at the end of the year last summer but plugs look as if all cylinders are firing. i was thinking about going through the fuel system. i doubt the fuel filters have ever been changed, or good fuel was ever used so i thought may be to send the injectors out too to be cleaned.

so i guess my question is anyone else have any ideas or had similar problem? there are No faults or codes being thrown.

what update? ski was a trade in to seadoo dealer my buddy knows. they didn't wanna touch it because of the age, and told my buddy about it. my buddy put new plugs in it in oct and it did nothing. he wanted to clear his shop and i bought it. the dealer hooked it up and found no codes. plugs all look similar. middle cylinder looks just a tad cleaner than the other 2 but is definitely firing and smells of gas

Ck the part number on the ecu. The part number has ben superceded to a different number. I think the 02 ecu had a few issues. They Are Very Hard To Find used. U Can Use A S.C. Ecu As Long As You change The Map Sensor With it.

Had a friend with exact same symptom and after I looked it over I discovered one of the ignition coils was split and was shorting out. So pull all coils and carefully inspect them.

tried new plugs, 3 known good coils, new fuel pump with new filters. sounded a little better but not right. breaks up when giving it throttle. plugs looks decent. still no faults.... did a compression test all cyl at 155psi

    fuel injectors?
At this point, I would take the injectors to a local "fuel injector specialist" and have them tested (flow). Too bad you don't have other friends with similar ski to swap/part test.

tried 185 injectors. it's lumpy, but revs great now. injectors are going out. only $60 to clean and test locally
