    IBR down???

I had the IBR installed on the Spark and I have not drop it into the water yet, Shouldn't it be up till I press on the brakes, looking to the picture it is down now and I have not done anything.

Does this look like its is out of adjustment?

If you had someone install the iBR, during install its put in "iBR over-ride" mode so helps with installation. So chances are it was left in the position.

Just start ski and tap throttle to put it into forward mode, this will lift bucket. When you pull tether cord to stop motor, the iBR will rest in regular position.

You need B.U.D.S software and click in IBR calibration. You can't use overrde mode unless you go VTS

No, it is in the correct position currently. What you are seeing is the IBR in neutral position, not reverse. All SeaDoos with IBR are stored like this when powered off (unless the person performs an override command). When you get into the water and start the craft, it will start in neutral (a good thing). You can then activate the reverse to pull yourself away from the trailer.

Did they change IBR on the 2nd gen? It's in the down position when the engine is shut off so that you get a nice and smooth "start in neutral".

Yamahas have it in up position and I've seen people saying there's a small jerk forward at startup.

Thanks Guys, yes someone installed the iBR and thank you for the reply's. I was able to talk to a tech he told me that it should be down in the neutral position, I was thinking it should be up. I was thinking the guy messed up. I just picked this up and tomorrow the weather should be in the 70's here, so I will take it for a test drive.
