Question Anybody tried the learning key?

As the title says, anybody tried the learning key for their Spark? If so, what does it do? Limit power and top speed I guess but specific details would be interesting.

I use it all the time on my 300.... i set it to the highest setting which limits speed to about 42 mph and eliminates engagement of the supercharger...i use it when i have a long ride planned and no stops for fuel ...couldnt tell you how it operates on a spark , but probably limits your initial acceleration and top speed

It only works with 2016 or newer Sparks so I understand.

I believe it reduces acceleration and top speed but I don't know by how much exactly.

Your throttle will feel like it's connected to a slinky.

I could imagine it's a bit like the touring mode on a 90Hp but with less top speed.

But it would be nice with some hard fact numbers

You could perhaps email BRP/Seadoo directly?

Supercharger is constantly engaged, not quite sure what your are hoping to accomplish there aside from undue strain on your s/c

when my son was finally allowed to drive at age 12, touring mode worked just fine for the learning curve. Top speed wasn't even a concern, because it took way too long to get there before he slowed down or found his own safe speed anyway. Perhaps that's why sea doo didn't have them as an option in 2014? Idk.
