    Howdy neighbor!

I see you are putting in a Thompson Creek access. I am on the water maybe a mile from there.

    I have 6 Polaris skis, 4 are 96 SLT780s and 1 is a 97 SLT780 and a 96 SL780 I may sell after I get the pump rebuilt.

It's a shame the lake looks like it will be low again this year.

PM me if you want to swap phone numbers and we can meet up when you are out some time.

What are the marker marks on the top of the pate when you connected the stock steering bar to the yami steering plate? 6th picture down (first pic of the steering) on the first post? Did you have any issue fabricating that steering set up? I'd like to do the same thing it's an awesome idea!

Good call on the ramp! Actually my first Polaris, the rest of mine are stand ups and waveblasters. I may hit you up when I go riding next time.

I assume they were to line it up to keep it square. Pretty simple set up. Just cut off the bars from the polaris, cut off the plate from the yamaha set up, lined it up, drilled and tapped holes, and welded them together.

That's what I figured. Cutting it tonight. Will probably use a wire brush to clean it up and see where that goes.

Do you know about Wetwolf's recommendation of using the Seadoo HX aftermarket sponsons, mounted up high at the rear?

Damn neat little project you did. Looks awesome with the new seat cover as well. Also, damn nice looking Blaster on the trailer next to the Hurricane!! Kudos to you on a job that appears to be well done.

I am currently looking for a used set. Haven't seen anything pop up yet, may just go ahead and buy some new ones. I also have an extended plate that I just got back that I am going to try out this weekend. A new impeller is also on the way, the ski needs it badly. The current one is way too tall.

I really appreciate it! I am happy that it came out as well as it did. Wasn't really sure how it was going to turn out, with as few Hurricanes as there are out there, let alone triple canes. Few tweaks here and there, and it will be a solid sport gp ski. I expect I will finish mid pack in the Pro Watercross events. I will let you guys know how it does after the first two races in early May.

We used to do it down at jet ski cove, but towards the end of last year the DNR told us we needed a permit for the buoys and if there were more than 9 skis we would need an event permit. So we have been looking for more secluded spots on the lake to do it. There was always a ton of people and boats down at the cove.
