    Polaris drive shaft removal?

    Hi

I have a Polaris SLTX 1050 and want to know how does the shaft come out of the coupler? I tried to pull it out by hand, but it seems stuck in there. It does have movement when I push it backwards and forwards.
    Any help will be appreciated....

    try a rope and a 3 foot 2x4.
tie a slip knot onto shaft then wrap the rope around 2x4,
start with 2x4 about 3 feet from back of ski , as you wrap it around it will pull itself closer to the back of ski.
do this til the 2x4 is tight against the rubrail in the back allowing you to pull the bottom of the 2x4 towards you and pull the shaft out

That shaft is stuck in there properly. I have tried few things. Any reason for it not to come out?

"stuck in there properly" hhm that sounds kinda british ...
No nothing holding it in ,, just some small burs or lips that form from normal running .

Nope...South African. Cool going to make a tool and see, just don't want to break anything. No Polaris spares here in SA. Thanks
