    Bypass Fuel Selector 96 Waveraider

Hi All, I have air in my fuel system and my fuel selector switch is broken / not working. My mechanically inclined neighbour told me to bypass the switch and pull gas from the reserve tank but what do I do?

I am going to replace all the lines but is bypassing the fuel selector as simple as just running the fuel line from the "Reserve port" from the tank to the fuel filter and just capping or plugging the "On port" on the fuel tank?

Obtained my replacement lines this week and going to turn the garage heater on this weekend and give try it. Any advice before I start?
