Mine slid right out after I took the end molding off. Try tapping the other end softly with a flat head and a rubber mallet and it should get it started.

Get a flat head, pry up the end and just pull it out against the bracket its held into. Itll come right out. when you go to put it in. Use a pair of needle nose pliers a d grab the very front. Spray some silicone spray and have someone on the back pushing the insert while you pull it through. Alternatively you can simply fold one corner of he bumper into the slot and with a plastic mallet or 2x4 and hammer you can simply press it back in vs slide

took it out today. It pulled right out. I sprayed fluid film in the track before pushing the new plastic through. No problem at all. Thanks for the input.
