    96 wv 700 keel rash

keel has some rash 2-3' section, 1/8" deep in some places, from beaching and use over the years, wondering what might be best way to clean up. Just epoxy and smooth or use cloth also? Don't want to create any more drag than I need to. Obviously I'm a fiberglass noob here. Thanks!

Doesn't sound structural. Get some Marglass body filler, it's waterproof. Smear it into the gouges, sand smooth, finish sand along with surrounding area, paint with white appliance epoxy paint. I have found this to be the most cost effective method for touching up old skis.

Has anyone used he gator guard keel shield? Or the mega ware keel guard on wave venture skis?
