    the kit is just a new aftermarket flywheel and a new gear for the older superchargers
    the flywheel has more teeth than the 260 flywheel
    so the combo spins the SC faster than the stock combo
    faster SC speed = more boost

    you may be able to run a 300 charger using that flywheel but the factory did a couple of updates to the pto cover for the new SC

    I know that guy in my area are using 300 chargers with mods to PTO, I'm trying to understand what the gain is with this product and is it with old style charger 255 @ x rpm.

    yes the kit is for the old SC
    if you believe the graph posted in that ebay add it looks like at 8700 the stock wheel makes 12.5
    and with the kit the 260 SC makes 15psi at the same rpm
    and at 9500 makes about 18psi

    The pre-300 charger already spins above bearing specs so doing this mod to spin it even faster I don't think is a great idea in the long run.

    Going with ET137 makes more sense and is safer.

    70/145 or the new 146. Wicked fun acceleration and it's a 3 bolt mod. Off with old in with new.
