What does the existing stator look like?

What shape is the rubber grommet where the cable exits the flywheel housing?

Polaris used two different housings, one was from before 2000 with a round cable grommet. The other was 2000-2004 with a U shape rubber grommet.

    Setting it all up

Just to refresh it a litttle:

We started to build wang boy again.

All of the parts came from USA so build up engine.

It is back in the hull.

    Now we have other problems.
    Ski wont crank at all.

And when we crank it on baypas on battery we have no spark.

First of all we need to solve crankig and after spark.
So any idea why ski does not want to crank at all.
Bilge pump is working and all the instrument works except start/stop button.
    We checked and:
    Button is OK
    Solenoid valve is OK.
    Starter is OK.
Stator is checked with ohm meter. (not exactly as it should be )
Black to ground 0 ohms OK
Black to purple 5.5 ohms OK
yellow to red/purple should be 0.75 ohms (it is 1.1) not OK
red to grn ground open OK

Any help experience with no cranking?

Check electrical box grounds with battery disconnected. Must measure zero ohms between black wires inside electrical box and engine case.

Make sure all ground points and all black wires inside the electrical box are actually grounded to engine.

Start solenoid coil connection should have one connection to electrical ground and one connection to start button.

Battery voltage AT THE CDI is critical for ignition on these red engines.

Measure voltage right at the CDI Black and RED/Purple wires. The voltage must stay ABOVE 10.6 volts while the engine is cranking.

If the voltage stays above 10.6 all the time while cranking, next test is to bypass the LR-505 module. I have posted the method elsewhere.

Note that all my info is for the genuine Polaris manufacture models. I do not have specific knowledge or even wiring diagrams for the Yong Wang watercraft.

What is voltage into the CDI when Bilge button is pressed while cranking?

And same voltage measurement when cranking without Bilge button?

    Yes.

I strongly recommend you read the information located here.

There are many pages of information, including specific information regarding the LR models.
