    96 XP MPEM replacement

I was wondering if in the aftermarket they sell an MPEM that doesn't need to be progammend for the DESS key. I live in Aruba and there is a seadoo dealership but they can't program a new key for me. They can program only the newer thumper models. My DESS key really needs to be replaced but since they can't program it, its really going to be a issue for me. I bought a MSD enhancer but it still uses the DESS system and its a pain to dail in. Any tips in this MPEM issue?

I believe the Arieltek comes set up to use ANY key. They also use to offer a programmable unit.

Buy a candoo system from jerry ! You can program all the keys you need , still cheaper in the long run , can offset ignition , program friends keys for a small fee too

The Enhanser (MSD 4255) can be wired in without using the MPEM. It's here in the 97 instructions...... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...L89mi47CA_HlBw

From there you can use the recommended settings in the 96 instructions..... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...bxAulKAJ7e6rMw

You will only need to determine the initial (static) timing and MSD will send you the timing tape to put on your pto.
