Postage for shipping Mark the ECU's
Just got back from UPS shipping my ECU "AIR" to Mark. Don't know if anyone wants to compare the prices of FEDEX or USPS, but insured for $1,200 air to Canada was $80.06 and it will be there this Friday. Maybe others can save a few bucks through FEDEX or USPS. I myself can't stand "FEDSUX" and the post office is always to fricken crowded.

Never use a courier to ship up here (meaning Canada). The brokerage fees will increase your cost.
USPS is the only way to go. No brokerage.

Always mark it as a gift or warranty replacement.
I once bought a golf club on ebay for 60 and the brokerage was an additional 60.

I went to the USPS today, sent it Global Express Mail, insured it for $1200, cost was $28 total. I had to fill out two forms, one for Customs, declared it as an ECU and for warranty repair. The counter person said the way I did it was the only/best option to get it to Canada. But ... she might not know the other options ... so all I could do was follow her lead.
