You have a 23 year old 'Ski with a dead battery and you're bitchin' at Kawasaki because it won't start? What a moron!

Not to be rude...but the machine is almost older than Moses. It really does not make much sense to bitch about a manufacturer when it comes to technology that is this old.

Also, try reading your post out loud to yourself and ask yourself "does it make sense?" Use some periods and take a breath.

    yanno, under these circumstances.......

Will you be using the same language when your 25 year old liver fails?

electronics age and fail, even those encapsulated in epoxy.

I'd wager you have water in the electrical box

and yes there are a whole lot of bolts holding it all together.

oh yeah...have somebody standing by when you check the parts prices when you realize you've got a water issue. You'll need a ride to the emergency room

typical electrical box repairs for water intrusion charge out at around 3 hours labor + all of those expensive plastic parts.

just buy a new ski, sell the money pit
