    Question Impeller suggestions

    I just installed VT1100 injectors, ET 137+4 supercharger, and had my ECU flashed with the 8350 tune for these mods on top of my previous mods. The only things from making it a full riva stage 3 machine is the retainers/springs and 8650 tune. I am not wanting to dig into the engine internals at this time, not sure if I'll want to in the future either. Still debating though...

    Testing the SC, 1100's and 160 thermostat yesterday (10-30-16) had me hitting the rev limiter hard at 8450 (over the 8350). The air temp was 45* F, water 50*F and dew point around 40*F. I know this will change drastically in the summer.

    A few weeks ago with similar conditions, I was hitting 8400 with the stock X-charger, stock 48 injectors, and 8350 tune with the 15/19R impeller. It didnt seem to be banging off the limiter though. But, in summer I was seeing at some points as low as 7980 at WOT.

    My questions are:

    Should I repitch to 15/20R with the 137, 1100's, and 160* thermo?

    Would these upgrades be able to keep the RPM's at around 8300 in the summer with 15/20R?

    Would a lucky 13 cone be more beneficial than the repitch?

    What about the 15/20R and lucky 13 cone together?

    I personally would keep the 15/19R and go with the Lucky 13 cone. Use the spacers to dial in your RPM between summer and cooler months. The Lucky 13 cone will add more performance versus repitching.

    That's my plan as well. I only hit 8k in summer and already have the lucky cone. I plan on pitching for summer and use the cone when it gets colder.
