By far the Jim's Performance modified FZ SVHO ride plate is the best.

I prefer deans cut. I get the speed and handleing out of it. Jims plate I got about .5-1mph more but the ski felt way looser when cornering at high speeds.

I'll take the extra 1mph n drop my sponsons 1/4 of an inch to get the handling back. I never noticed a difference in handling like you described to be honest with you

My plate is a all around plate, I have people who want an all out speed plate i will mod it that way. I have people that want high speed handling i will mod it for them if they request it. Remember an average rider is not doing boey racing. All the customer has to do is request it and it will be done. Remember every person uses there ski differently so what is good for you may not be good for someone else. In that case when someone has a special need for the plate all they have to do is tell me and i will get it done. Thank you, Jim

Jim's plate tightened my handling, upgraded from an R&D plate. Rear was a little loose with the old plate.

R&D plate wants to hunt over 80. I remember that left to right scoot feeling from the rear and saying WHOAAAAA, I don't like this... I have used Jims cut VX plate for 5 years now on my FZR and the angle cut on the hull mounting face with the inverted skegs he cuts into them keeps my SuperStock FZR on rails at very high speeds. Hopefully Sunday morning at Tavares, Fl. in speed alley we will get some good flat water conditions so we can all lay it out and bust out some killer numbers.
