    160 thermostat in 300

I'm in hot FL weather. Anyone have feedback on running 160 thermostat in a 300 with Riva maptuner?

I don't have a V-tech tune but the 160 thermostat lowered my max temps from around 192 to around 174. I'm also in Florida.

yes im not sure of my max temps but just did this and noticed no matter how hard i ran it no fade so im guessing improvement

Also it says to use a press i used a small mallet with tiny hits slowly but surly also i put a hose clamp around the retainer ring that goes around the housing and used impact gun to tighten to the point right before it would strip the hose clamp out just for extra security

Also im in seminole so if your every looking to ride let me know

I recently put this thermostat in my 300 but it kept cutting out after about 5-10 min of ridding Eng temps were only getting to about 68-69c so have gone back to stock one with no dramas I kno our lake etc water temps are still low and weather has been between 8-18c so will try it again when things warm up
