    My 1st MSX 150 Rebuild

So I've got 3 of the MSX skis right now. 2 are operational and 1 is not. The one that's not operational I'm gutting everything and am going to rebuild this motor and swap it out of my red ski that has 300+ hours on it.
This motor wouldn't turn over. I removed the safety cover over the PTO and tried rotating it with some channel lock pliers. The plugs are out, I took them out. After a few good pushes the motor rotated but wouldn't make a complete revolution in either direction. So now the fun begins.

Good luck! Love the hull cut job. Everything is so accessible!

    Cheers!

Cool, been nice if polaris would have added a flat flange were u cut that with a gasket and then another section under the seat. 10 stainless allen screws to remove and lift the section out of the way. A lot better access to the engine. Have fun.

That turned out good. Hill did a good job matching everything up. Lots of working room. Thats one thing i always liked abt outboard motors, when u pull the upper and lower cowl u have access to whole powerhead.
