    Angry pos yam 1999 gp1200

    how does a thermal switch in the exhaust affect the running of the engne if it is engaged.
    unit has had all of this replaced
    stator
    flywheel
    all of the electrical box and components
    engine has 120psi in all cyl.
    what is the limp mode do and to what affect

    Limp mode cuts the engine down to a very low rpm to prevent burning it up IF it's actually overheating. No matter how much throttle you give it just goes bluh,bluh,bluh,bluh,bluh, and will not even get on plane.
