IMPORTANT! You guys with 300 HP skis - Please Read!!!
So, we often see one guy getting better results than another guy with the same mods and often wonder why?
It was reported to me that some time mid year Seadoo changed the supercharger impeller on the 300 skis. Early production got an impeller with more blades, then they changed to a different impeller with fewer blades. It was said that this impeller with fewer blades makes 1-2 psi less boost.
I spoke with Cody Hawkins about this last night and he told me the newer impeller with fewer blades actually makes a small amount more boost. Nothing that you would feel it's a tiny amount. He suggests that any boost loss that was reported is most likely heat fade due to our very hot summer.
It would be nice to see someone back to back these two superchargers and log boost pressure.
Pictures attached of the two different impellers.

For those that don't know, you can upgrade the impeller in your 300 supercharger with either of these offerings to provide for better performance than the stock impeller.

Wow that's lame.
Are you sure the ET142 is "do it yourself"? According to ET the back housing needs to be machined.

Wow thats funny shit! WHY? Thanks Jerry! Also please advise the stock 300 SCer is Balanced from the factory as a complete unit and may need attention when updating to a newer wheel.

So this appears to be Sea Doo's answer to bad intercooler hoses. Rather than replace the hoses with better ones just drop the boost level - Yikes.
And it wouldn't surprise me that the software update that came along with the head bolt change reduced power
output too. Glad I never took mine in and let them mickey mouse around with it.

Good info - thanks Jerry. So for a stock class ski you need to find an early one! Thanks, Rob
