    Impeller Question

On our last river run, picked up something along the way and broke the intake grate. Looks like it went thru the prop. Felt slightly different on the way back.

I know it's best to get the impeller fixed, but if I bend the leading edge ding back, will I have a cavitation problem? I've already replaced the intake grate. (see pics)

no an expert, but unless that prop is professionally repaired, anything you do is going to result in a loss of performance. The wear ring I would also suspect is damaged too. Most likely in addition to the grate, you will need a wear ring, a new prop and may even need to check the shaft.
