2012 FZR blown engine.... now what?

Well the day has come, 5 years of quality memories and wide open throttle runs has come to an end. My 2012 FZR motor is blown and I'm weighing options on the next chapter. Appears my Gen1 riva power cooler decided it wanted to loose pressure and inject salt water directly into the motor. Pressure test failed on the intercooler... and water in all cylinders. Question is what should I do next?

I got a quote for a full rebuild and a new Gen 2 Riva power cooler for just under 7k...my only issue is do I want to blow the money to rebuild it, walk away and be done , or do i have any options to convert to a VXR motor ( NA minus supercharger ) ( if that's even possible ).

I have the money to blow but if i rebuild, but i won't have a warm the fuzzy something else might not fail later and then restart the endless cycle all over again. Any idea's, suggestions, or blown motor experiences would help during these dark times...Thanks guys! need to come up with a plan !

Part it out. Then pick-up GP1800 with an extended warranty.

Just because water is in the cylinders does not mean it's blown.... these things can sink 10 times and still run. Ask the rental guys

It can happen with any intercooler. Fizzle, riva, worx, any intercooler can and will fail at some point. Take it to jim if your close or jist part it out and buy a new ski, after 5 years its time for a new home.
