Is Riva Stage 3 worth it?

So, I have a Riva Stage 2 kit and running 83.2mph.

I like the versatility of Stage 2 because I can always go back to stock for mellow cruising with friends.

On the other side, I like the performance of a modded boat.

    Is Stage 3 worth it?

    How fast?

So, Jerry (Greenhulk) hooked me up with this additional Riva kit = Stage 3.

Still waiting for my Riva O2 kit and R&D's supercharger holder.

While I'm waiting, are there any words of wisdom or any additional kit to throw into the mix?

After completing the awful task of tunnel reinforcement, I reinstalled the engine with a complete Stage 3 upgrade.

Jerry, says it will be a beast. After starting it, it sounds like a beast. Once the weather clears up, I'll take it to the water and see if breaks 88mph????

    Are there any speed predictions?

If I break 88mph I will be stoked.

I'm wondering if the 13/20 prop will get the job done, especially trying to break the 88 or even the 90mph barrier????

So the question is 13/20 or 13/18 to get over the 90mph threshold???

If you installed retainers go with 13/18 it really wakes the ski up but I don't know which gas to recommend you with high rpm. But if you wanna be safe with 93 octane install the 13/20 and it's should put you around 8500 -8800

Even with Stage 2, I mix my fuel with VP 100 and 91 to around 95 octane. So, I'll continue to run the same mix to be safe.

I have flashed to the Stage 3 AGR with the 9000+ RPM. I installed RIVA's springs and retainers with my Stage 2 setup.

The only question I have is, if i go with the 13/18 impeller do I need the the Lucky cone to bring down my rpms?

It looks like the rain will not clear up til Tuesday - water results coming soon with the 13/20 Wednesday - man I can wait to see what this ski is going to do!

It looks like the 13/18 and the Lucky 13 pump cone will be the last bit of kit before water testing RIVA's Stage 3 with the V-Tech Stage 3 AGR w/9500 RPM.

Jesus says this tune runs on 93 Octane. Once the prop and Lucky 13 cone is installed, I'll get some data plots on the AFRs and boost.

Hopefully be on the water late next week - finally!
