2012 RXP-X red starter button worn away?

My push button starter has deteriorated, and is really hard to push anymore. Is this a normal problem? Easy fix?

You can buy a new red button and pop it in. Pretty simple http://www.ebay.com/itm/Seadoo-OEM-K...pXqRrP&vxp=mtr

No, it will just be the red button cover itself that will be worn out.

I can just pop it out with a blade?

I used a small flat blade screwdriver like you would use on eyeglasses.

Removed the old and popped the new one in, maybe 2 mins tops.

If you can't get it out you have to take the housing apart but even that is easy.

Button cover replacement takes all of 3 minutes.
