pro cooling kit and intercooler line question

so looking at the instructions and flow chart for the riva pro cooling kit. dedicated line to the intercooler which is great. then they have you take the outlet of the intercooler and run it over to the oil cooler then the oil cooler dumps overboard through the single little outlet on the port side. is it me or is there something wrong with this logic? you now have a dedicated 1/2" line which can feed a ton of water to the intercooler and oil cooler then it chokes it off from the stock 3 bypass outlets down to a single outlet? wtf? it appears the 2 stock intercooler outlets on the stbd side arent used anymore. am i missing something here? anyone that has installed this, how did you handle this?

Not sure about what that kit shows but unless you are using the ski for racing I would only run the dedicated line to the intercooler block off the stock line and leave the rest of the cooling stock

What alot of people do is they run the dedicated line just to the Intercooler and the line you left over from your intercooler that you took out they put it to Anode fitting to the motor.

Your in nj you do not need any additional cooling for the motor.

I agree with the guys above about leaving the rest of the cooling stock. The easiest/cheapest/most effective setup IMO is

    1) the new jet pump strainer cover plate with single fitting
    https://www.4-tecperformance.com/ind...oducts_id=2530

    2) 1/2" double barbed through hull fitting
    https://www.4-tecperformance.com/ind...oducts_id=2486

    3) 1/2" heater hose and clamps. You run 1/2" line from the pump strainer to the hull fitting. Then, inside the hull you run the 1/2" line to the intercooler inlet. The intercooler outlet is a 5/8" barb that goes to the 5/8" Y fitting, which splits into the 2 factory exit pisser fittings.

thanks everyone. that's sort of what I was thinking. it made no sense to me to bring in all that extra cooling water just to choke it off with one pisser off the side like riva recommends in the instructions.

Because i'm tight, i'm planning on upgrading my SHO with an SVHO intercooler and plumbing in this set up but wanted to ask do i need to add a dedicated flush port as well?

Yes you will need a way to flush the intercooler loop
