    Exhaust Clamp Fail - RXP-X

Well at 8 hrs on the ski I was about to put the seat back on after a weekend of riding and decided to do a once over on every thing. My flashlight spotted something in the rear of the ski and upon a closer look, it was part of a clamp . After fishing it out and looking around I found one of my exhaust clamps had snapped right under the worm screw of the clamp. This is the clamp that is on the larger diameter rubber hose that connects the exhaust manifold to the waterbox. I am sure the next time out I would have had a exhaust leak. What kind of crap are they using on these skis??

I could not figure out why, after 13 hours, I was not seeing the full RPM that everyone else was getting. I checked everything, but obviously not EVERYTHING. Exhaust clamp loose. Tightened and instant 500 RPM gain - best mod for the money ever!

Every exhaust and intake system clamp on my 2015 RXT-X have been replaced with the solid band AWAB clamps for this reason.

I've never heard of a hose clamp issue with sea Doo before 16'
I know the loose ones are install error but broken.
Can it be they have a new clamp source?
Anybody know if they've actually changed brands or suppliers?
