    Who's using a Vxr throttle body on Fzr...........

    I wonder what the mm is on the vxr? Here is maxbore.com. They can bore out your stock throttle body.

    They just taper it, they cannot change the throttle blade (butterfly) itself on the Yamaha throttle body.

    The VXR throttle body is 60mm
    The FZR throttle body is 54mm

    You wont see any difference. You will think you are getting better acceleration but in fact it's the same. The throttle body is just openimg up more like your hitting the throttle harder. There's numerous threads on this. Your ecu is tuned for the 54mm one

    i agree! And I had to adjust my tune with my MoTeC ECU so that it would idle properly with the larger throttle body.

    the GP1800 uses the FZ SVHO motor and has a 54mm throttle body
