    My 300RXT-X for moddin

So I'm ready to buy some performance goodies for my 2nd RXT.
The first, I only replaced the SCOM and I'm happy with its 75.
Now I'm thinking 80 would be cool with the new one.
I'm not sure much has changed for mod selection in the last few months.
    Thoughts?

    Who's reflash?
i was thinking the Riva power filyer
dont want a noisy exhaust and don't think it'll make much top speed or acceleration difference. At least it doesn't warrant the cost.

If you are taking more air in I. E a CAI, you need to get that extra air out as fast and efficient as possible. Keep in mind your engine is a air pump, doing intake with out exhaust is pointless. Also once you put the Power filter On, the super charger becomes alot louder.

Only do the exhaust if you want more sound. It will male no real difference in power or speed. Im running a stock exhaust on my FZ and it easily reaches over 80mph on stock prop. I cant stand the drone and noise.

In most instances the small amount of air added with a simple air filter is not enough to require a larger or better flowing exhaust. It seems most manufacturers build in enough "room" for a little more air you're adding to the intake.
I'm more interested in the air filter to allow enough air for the tune otherwise I wouldn't add the intake noise for a couple HP.

I can't stand the excess noise after awhile either and on those long trips up the river a loud ski is bothersome to others in a ride group as well.
If I can run 80 and keep her quite at the exhaust, I'm in.

I did notice a difference when I added the exhaust, big advantage is it takes up alot less space in the hull. So everything else is easier to work on. I do agree the resonation at 3k can be annoying at times, but different strokes for different folks

The MaptunerX tunes are the best way to go on the 300 skis. You have many tunes to choose from and can switch to the next level tune any time you want at no extra cost.

This is the MaptunerX bundle you would need
    https://www.4-tecperformance.com/ind...oducts_id=4243

If you are going to do the power filter then you will want to run the stage 2 tune with 8500 limiter (yes you can run this with the stock 300 valve train)
There is also a tune with 8300 limiter if you want to take it down a notch.

You can actually buy the MaptunerX bundle with the power filter and Solas impeller all together as a "stage 2" kit at a discount here in the forums store
