    How does yamaha kill switch work ?

    How does the yamaha kill switch work ? Doest it cut ignition, fuel or just closes the throttle body ?

    do you remember the old lawn mowers that had a tab of metal just above the tip of the spark plug? to shut off you would just push the tab to make contact with the plug and it just grounded out the circuit. Same but without the flashback of an old lawn mower. LOL.(ignition)

    it opens and tells the ECU to kill spark and fuel, 20 seconds later the ecu goes to sleep and the dash shuts down
