If BRP won't, why can't RIVA?
Why can't RIVA build a cruise module for the sea-doo's. I bet they'd sell like hot cakes. Unless BRP has explicitly told them not to?

The cruise function is software that is written in the ecu by BRP. All the module does is activate the sofware.

So therefore it shouldn't be difficult to re-create the module that BRP has discontinued, unless they were asked/told not to. Or, they just don't want to?

I don't really understand your replies, first you say the software is written and the module unlocks it, then you say it's not written.
Sea Doo still offers cruise on the GTX Limited and the RXT 260, so the software you speak of is still there, it's just the module that has been discontinued for sale by itself.

Please read this: http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=248238
The 2010 version 295 100 383 is still available if you look at the parts catalog under section Genuine Parts_Accessories
The 2011 version 295 100 455 is only different in the power supply wire (different fuse box 2011 and above)
The ski module 295 100 432 has the same control module (278 002 442), but it has not the cruise switch (278 002 349).
Now the interesting part: does anyone know if the control module 278 002 442 works on 2016 models? If yes, then it would be very easy to add cruise control.

Yah but you won't be able to get on. No one sells them anymore.
I have the one off my 2010 RXTX, I'm curious to know if it will work on my 2016 as well. Guess I should try it sometime.

I have the software and hardware to activate this now and do so for my customers without having to install the module,
We normally activate cruise control or for the guys that dont want to pay to have the new switch installed we activate the wake mode as it does the same thing with out the button this works on any bosch ecu including the 2016
