    What the hell happened? iBr Reverse at high speed??

    And the cluster breaks off? At $16k, That's some Bullchit right there. On video too? I'd have council review this...

    I actually spoke to this guy via Youtube comments, told him to come here and post. I would love pictures of the iBR, and to know the outcome.

    I assume the cluster broke off because his body hit the handlebars on the way over.

    Having the bucket fall down unintentionally at speed is about the worst fear...even when fixed it will still put doubt every time you go fast.

    I've willing to bet $1 that it was the tiny "Shoulder Pin" that connects the link to the iBR rod (right behind the bellow boot seal). That shoulder pin is amazingly small for how important it is. It's just an M4 for gods sake! Then again, knowing how neglectful during assembly the 2016 SeaDoo's have been shown to be (made in Mexico), it's possible the pin wasn't installed properly....I'll bet $2 on that

    On another note: Kind of lucky that it happened on the RXT-X because the (plastic) adjustable steering mechanism broke and let it over-extend when your legs/body hit them. If this was a PX and this happened, you could have had serious leg injuries.

    FYI: This was a mechanical failure because iBR didn't put ski in limp/error mode. So this technically isn't the same gen2 iBR failure we've been seeing.

    Just a thought, it would be nice to see a fail-safe spring added to the iBR bucket so in the event of a failure, it remains up and not fall down. Just a low tension spring will do.

    Wild!! Can you post what caused the problem once the dealer has had a look at it? Can be dangerous at any reasonable speed if you aren't expecting full brakes. I ride with my kids, could cause an injury (or worse). Thanks.
