    Got an action camera..

Afraid to loose a GoPro at first try so I went with an Amazon off brand with great reviews and after playing with it for a few weeks it's great.
    Using the GoPro suction mount..

The best cheap one I've used is the Git2.. I can't tell the difference from the videos I took from my GoPro...Well before it took a dunk in salt water of course, without it's case..lol

Thanks. I just bought one for $64 off eBay. Hope to have it next week and get some vids made.

My Videometer app is cool but videos are shakey.

I don't have a GoPro to compare it to, but my understanding is that it fits all GoPro mounts. It comes with a wide variety of mounts, EXCEPT the suction cup mount.

I purchased the GoPro brand suction cup and it works very well and holds like crazy. Worth the $40 price.

At this point, my only concern is the mounts it did come with and how they connect.

GoPro has a long screw that sits flush with one side of the mount. On the other end is a robust nut with a "handle" to twist it secure.

The mounts on the Lightdow are setup differently. The screw is attached to the securing handle. On the other end is a little nut; I’ve found those very easily fall off when trying to secure the mount.

I’m considering super gluing those to keep them from popping off.

Also, the battery door is a real bitch and looks to be easily broken. You get about 1.5 - 2 hours of battery use, vs. 5+ hours of recording on a 32Gb micro SD.

What video mode was used for these recordings?

    1080?
    P60, P30, i60?
