    Thumbs up 300 charger into 4tec

    Hey guys! so this week ill be switching from my 68-140 setup to the new 300 charger with the 17.5lb wheel. I haven't seen anything on this yet and I know many people have had interest in it. My rxp ran 82.7 on a 95+ degree day with high humidity down in Florida ,Shes seen 84.6 on cooler less humid days. I will post results when she runs some numbers so we kind of have an idea of how it will respond. With this setup im hoping to gain the reliability of the 300 charger vs a 68-140, maybe some midrange and some mph would be nice too.

    PARTS to be installed:
    300 charger with 17.5 wheel
    modified pto housing with oil return for 300 charger
    300 flywheel

    my build specs so everyone has an idea of what im working with.

    2005 rxp hull
    2008+ rxpx everything else

    HEAD:
    supertech valves
    titanium valve springs/retainers
    fully ported and polished
    torx billet cam
    300 valve cover conversion.

    BLOCK:
    carillo rods
    cp pistons 8-4-1
    block guard

    FIZZLE f1000 intercooler kit

    PUMP:
    15/20
    royal purple gear oil no grease.
    r&d grate
    pitched rxpx plate
    pump reliefs
    Modified rxp grate
    Rxpx pump shoe

    FUEL:
    deka 80lbs
    lb motor sports 10k flash
    walbro 340
    riva rrfpr


    BLACKBIRD400


    MUST MODIFY OEM PTO HOUSING FOR OIL RETURN FROM 300 CHARGER


    BACK SIDE OF MODIFIED PTO



    300 CHARGER MOCK UP


    MUST BEND OIL FEED LINE SO THAT IT CAN POINT DIRECTLY INTO 300 CHARGER




    300 FLYWHEEL TO THE LEFT OEM 4TEC FLYWHEEL TO THE RIGHT











    Must change oem supercharger bolts that hold charger to engine. They are too short!

    How are you getting oil to the charger? Does the new 300 Pto housing have a new oil delivery system? the 05 system was just the spray. And is it compatible with the old 05 block?

    You use the 4tec PTO and add the oil return to it.

    You can't use the 300 PTO as it has no provision for the oil squiter as the 300 ACE squirts oil to the charger from the block.

    Throw some pics up as you go if this turns out good I wanna do the same thing.. I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the maintenence free charger haha
