Ways to check for boost leak

I've been searching but it's scaterred about. I've heard of a few ways to check for boost leak but would like to hear ways to check and where the weaks spots usually are. Intercoolers I know can fail. What about an rrfpr with rising rate connected. Riva's manifold fa removal. so many places to check. Also should ski be running or revd up?

Soap and water in a spray bottle. Run engine and spray the areas like throttle body and ic and pipes. It'll bubble up quick

Best bet is to somehow pump some pressure through the charger inlet. Without the engine running noise you'll be able to easily pinpoint any leak.

I'm not sure how much pressure you can build up on the hose anyway, it would not be constant whatever it bumped up to.

Would a pressure tester work? Does the system hold pressure with no leaks?

It will hold pressure if there are no leaks.

Also, check your intake manifold, some like to split at the seam under higher boost.

I'm gonna try soap and water first. need to check slip too so while I'm at it why not pressure test it and know I'm getting max boost
