Can we get confirmation that you can use the newer wider chain and guides with a pre 2016 crank? I have my motor apart right now so I'll do this upgrade if possible. Thanks!

How many hrs since you've changed the 15 chain with the new style 16 chain

Need to do a chain replace on a 15 fzr with broken oem chain - so want to know from your experience if is reliable to upgrade only chain, guides and cam sprockets

It was a customer's ski. I'm not sure of the hours, but it has been over 3 years. We have done two other's more recently. But the GreenHulk kit is the safest.

Sorry to resurrect the dead. Fyi, September 2020 and my new (to me) 2015 fzr has just done the chain at 245 hrs (5 hrs after I bought it). Got it through a dealer with a 30 day warranty which has just expired but he's still agreed to sort it out (good man ). When he called me to tell me the bad/good news he mentioned that Yamaha were honouring warranty on chain until 2020. I assume Yamaha are sorting it out, he didn't specifically say and I wasn't going to question anything, as long as I don't have to pay. He also mentioned that I probably won't have it back for around 2 months, just hope I get it back before Christmas.
