    Octane for stage 2 rxp 300?

    around my area i can mostly only find 91 octane non-ethanol. sometimes is can get 93 but it has ethanol. i dont like to use that.

    will 91 be ok or can i use an octane booster?

    AFR adjusted to stoich with E10 is around 14.13. In non-ethanol fuel stoich is 14.7

    But these tunes aren't on the ragged edge (re: AFR). My only concern is with timing and unless someone has done data logging on said application, hard to say.

    FYI: I've only used E10 93-octane.

    91 is fine

    Yes I would run 93 if possible but that's just me. 91 will be fine for your tune. I personally wouldn't add octane boost. I have never trusted that shit. Again that's me some people swear by it. You could even run 89 in emergency situations just don't recommend doing all the time. And if running 89 stay out of the throttle.

    What are you turning for RPMs 8200?

    i have not tried the stage 2 yet. swapping out impeller this weekend. was running 74 on gps at 8000 with vtech stage 1 tune with riva powerfilter and free flow exhaust. with my son riding. 140 lbs. with my fat ass on it 225 i can get 72. 90 deg day.

    If your gonna put on the 13/18r my guess you will be turning in the ball park range of 8200.
    Full stage 2 has the IMUK as well. So make sure when you change the tune you put the one in that fits your mods.

    yes 13/18r. i was debating the IMKU but didn't want to pull intake. ill wait until next year for that.

    tested last night. was still warm at 80deg. we live at 500 ft asl. 1/2 tank of fuel. hit 78mph at 8150 rpms. pulled much harder throughout the entire range. was jumping out of the water some on takeoff. might need to do intake grate.

    Tune that prop for 8,300-8,400. You'll be running over 80 in no time. I ran 81-83 on the dash at 8,400 this weekend! It definitely feels good to run 80, lol.
