    Home made OPAS block offs

I'm going to attempt to make my own block off and I'm open to any input on design here is a cardboard mock up I did . In the second picture I made 4 pencil marks approximately where I would drill 1/4" holes to tighten the Allen bolts , do you thing this would cause any adverse affects in performance ? on the actual pro series block off's i had, there were no holes on the outside of the plate. To tighten the allen bolts i had to reach in from the rear of the block off.

here's a mock up I made a few years back....

I had planned on using the same bolt holes as the opas used.

Yours are a close copy of the RE's....The outside templet is good, but the inner templet needs to be a larger square, and the supports, there are 2, were V shaped. The blockoffs are bolted and sealed to the hull.

Sadly, no. It was a link posted back in 2009 or so. I had RE's on my 2008 TX and thought I had some pics to post but couldn't locate any. I did a search & reposted the link to assist Greggpru.

    Sorry for any confusion.

Gregg are you a fabricator? If so I may be interested in a set of these if you would build them. I could send you my block offs to weld to. That last bend is going to take a press break & a knife edge die unless you are going to build in two pieces. I wish we still had our shop I could bend these for you.
