Oil Catch Can Alternative? Wouldn't this work?

Anyone used an alternative catch can?

I used something similar, but capped off the breather filter and piped the outlet back into the intake to keep the fumes out of the hull. Whatever you find though you will more than likely need to take it apart and fill it with steel wool.

ill get a picture of how I mounted it tomorrow morning. For the outlet I drilled and tapped a hole in the pvc coupler that holds the filter on my kanaflex intake, so everything is vented back into the intake, minus the liquids. The engine compartment doesn't smell like gas/oil anymore, which is why I did it this way over the riva can I had before.

Here's mine installed, it has a magnet in the bottom drain nut, inner perforated cylinder to condense and capture the hot oily gasses and maintains crankcase vacuum.
