    Knock off flow control valve?

    Hey guys,

I got a ski to fix from a friend of mine, that needed A little TLC. It's an 00 Yamaha gp1200r, came to me with the pipe off and the carbs needed a rebuilt. He popped a middle piston which was replaced before I got it, and it looked like a mild mid range seizure. Went through the carbs and found out it had the wrong jetting for a/f (117, 125 1.2 ns) so I bought the proper jets and new needle and seats, 95g springs all Mukuni rebuild. I noticed the water lines have been modified is this some flow control valve set up? The stinger is set up for a FCV but not the typical setup in the sticky. It's not a jet works flow control valve. Any advice would be helpful especially trying to figure out how I should plumb the water lines

It dose look like an FPR. Rich I will probably call your shop Tuesday to order a proper FCV and get rid of this hack mod. My buddy is trying to sell the ski so I'm just helping him fix it back up to run. Why do people do these things that make me scratch my head?
