    Modifying intake grate??

Pros & cons of removing center section of stock grate on a newer FZS?
instead of buying an aftermarket grate.

I would think that the ski will buck or turn when you snap off the throttle at full speed...try it and let us know when you get out of the Hospital.

    What a dickweed answer.
I did it on an FZR. Picked up a little speed and better hookup. And I did't have to use Obamacare after letting off the throttle.

I didn't understand that reply either, maybe he thought I meant removing the entire center section?

There is another recent thread on this. Same here, but I think I like the R&D better. Still havent done back to back testing to know exact differences.
I will say that I had to sand/grind the sides of the R&D to allow it to fit into my pump tunnel. It was a tad to wide.
