    Slx 1200 jetting

I have a low end bog and have read changing the pilot to a 65 helps. Does changing from a 70 to 65 have any negatives?

Not sure. It has a bog right off idle and choking it does not help it. So I assume it's running rich

the 2000 virage tx was jetted 65-42 for lows and mids
the 2001 stuff was jetted 65-40 for lows and mids with the wetter stinger at .090
i'd change the lows to 65

I got a chance to install the 65 jets. The low end bog is still present and has starting issues. With a couple cranks of the starter the engine starts right up and RPM's are around 1400, after about 30-45 seconds rpm start to decline till about 700 rpm and engine dies. Once I restart it if i give it gas its dies.

After the machine is warmed up the machine starts up a lot easier. There is a sputter/bog from 1500- 2000RPM. I have to feather the throttle to increase the RPM. You an actually feel some vibration when trying to increase RPM off of idle.

I will recheck lows. Is it still 1 1/8 turns out with the 65 jets? They are in the worst spot ever to change, almost impossible to do in the jet ski. I will check fuel inlet screens and return orifice. Is the return orifice in the carb itself? I went through the carbs during a full rebuild last year and checked pop-off pressure and etc.
